IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM KAMPUS MENGAJAR MELALUI FESTIVAL NUMERALI DAN MARKET DAY DI SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI 2 PATEMON

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian bertujuan untuk membantu guru maupun pihak sekolah dalam kegiatan pembelajaran terutama penguatan di bidang literasi dan numerasi. Program kerja disusun berdasarkan metode pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dan observasi. Berdasarkan identifikasi yang dilakukan, masih terdapatnya kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa yang rendah, beberapa siswa belum lancar membaca, menulis serta berhitung, serta kesadaran siswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang selanjutnya juga masih rendah. Adanya keterbatasan tersebut,  tim kampus mengajar membuat program kerja berupa Festival Numerali dan Market Day melalui kegiatan perlombaan dan penyediaan stand bazar di pinggir lapangan sekolah untuk tempat berniaga dan ajang melatih kewirausahaan siswa. Festival Numerali dan Market Day bermanfaat untuk menggali potensi atau bakat siswa sehingga mampu menciptakan interaksi antar kelas, meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa, meningkatkan pemahaman literasi dan numerasi, menumbuhkan kreatifitas serta menanamkan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa.

Service activities aim to assist teachers and school parties in learning activities, especially strengthening in the fields of literacy and numeracy. The work program is prepared based on data collection methods with interviews and observations. Based on the identification carried out, there are still low literacy and numeracy skills of students, some students are not fluent in reading, writing and counting, and students' awareness of continuing their education to the next level is also still low. Due to these limitations, the teaching campus team created a work program in the form of the Numeracy Festival and Market Day through competition activities and the provision of a bazaar stand on the edge of the school field for trading and training students' entrepreneurship. The Numerali Festival and Market Day are useful for exploring the potential or talents of students so as to create interaction between classes, increase student confidence, increase understanding of literacy and numeracy, foster creativity and instill students' entrepreneurial spirit.
